Northern Cascades National Park, WA      We left Leavenworth, went back down through Wenatchee, up Hwy 97 to Hwy 20 and on up through the Northern Cascades National Park. Clear weather and breathtaking scenery made the trip a true adventure every mile of the way.....this is a shot of Washington Pass, elevation 5477'.      We stumbled upon beautiful Diablo Lake....      ....retained by Diablo Dam. Maybe it's a "guy thing" but this is one of the coolest damn dams we've ever seen!      Everywhere we went we were surrounded by the Fall colors....      ....all the way out Hwy 20, back to the coast through Sedro Wooley.
