Leavenworth, WA      We had come East to Ellensburg on Hwy 90 so we certainly couldn't go back that way....been there, done that! So we decided to head up Hwy 97 to the Northern Cascades. Everybody said if you're going that way be sure to stop in Leavenworth! Leavenworth is this great little town, practically out in the middle of nowhere, where everything is like a Bavarian Village....      I mean everything....The stores, the restaurants, City Hall....Jeez, even the McDonalds looked like a Swiss Chalet!!      Ermie enjoyed the crisp Bavarian....er, Washington weather and managed to get in a little souvenir shopping, to boot!
